autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n <\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>Fortunately, sometimes some scammers do manage to get caught &#8211; here, thanks to Jirka explaining things, which is an absolutely brilliant YouTube channel.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Gangs used to call their victims &#8220;mammoths&#8221;.\nThe perpetrators responded to the posted advertisements promptly, especially via WhatsApp.\nThey promised to pay for the advertised goods and, more importantly, to arrange for their transportation.\nThey sent fake links to shipping companies and banks to the sellers.   <\/p>\n\n<p>When the contacted person entered relevant information such as name, password, authentication codes or credit card details, the perpetrators effectively took control of their online banking.\nThey then withdrew money from their accounts. <\/p>\n\n<p>Radim Dragoun, the chief prosecutor in Olomouc, added that the woman detained in the Czech Republic has the status of a&nbsp;cooperating defendant and is helping to uncover the criminal activities of other perpetrators.\nHe said that she had paid the damage caused to the victims in the amount of CZK 2 million. <\/p>\n\n<p> <em>Source <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irozhlas.cz\/zpravy-domov\/policie-ceske-republiky-gangy-internetove-podvody-inzeraty-weby-bankovni_2312061112_elev\">: https:\/\/www.irozhlas.cz\/zpravy-domov\/policie-ceske-republiky-gangy-internetove-podvody-inzeraty-weby-bankovni_2312061112_elev<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> \n<iframe title=\"Chytili podvodn\u00edky z m\u00e9ho videa\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7UAAG817NjM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
